Ford E-Brake - paw spring repair

I am a true believer of fixing things, not throwing them out. On occasion, the spring on Ford E-Brake paw will snap or rust out. 60 years is not a bad life span for these items. The parts can be purchased from www.mcmastercarr.com or nos ford parts houses.  (as of 2009). I was able to find the original springs at one of these houses.

New Mcmastercarr parts shown along with NOS spring. The MC spring will have to be modified on the end to engage the paw.
